Dr alvis does have a chronic pain managent practice outside of his neurosurgical practice.. it grew from his relationship with dr casper.. he and dr casper were to to open a clinic in newcastle, ok, in novenber of 2014.. but the clinic was delayed in opening due to his diagnosis of cancer and subsequent death in december , 2014... but this clinc opened in jan 2015 .. and accepts suboxone/ subutex patients as well as long term narcotic patients.. when appropriate...
